Announcements for the week: RICHMOND TOURNAMENT MARCH 14 Mark your calendars! The March regional is in Richmond, VA. The tournament will be March 14th. Ask us for a form! This is the closest tournament we will have until March 2021. You don’t want to miss out on this opportunity. THIS IS OUR GAME DAY! If you enjoyed competing at the All Valley Tournament, then you will love this. There will be around 500 competitors at this tournament from 14 schools! Tournaments are a great way to show off what you’ve learned in class, make new friends, and even earn some cool medals. Deadline to register is March 6. WEAPONS PROGRAM The weapons program has begun! We have had some awesome classes this past week. And uniforms are in! Pick yours up today! UPCOMING CLOSINGS March 14 We will be closed for the tournament. You won’t miss it because you’ll be AT the tournament, right? The MAKEUP class for the weapons program will be Sunday, March 15 at 1:00pm. March 21 Mr. and Mrs. Starnes have a personal obligation that weekend. The MAKEUP class for the weapons program will be Thursday, March 19 at 7:00pm (the Thursday BEFORE) TOURNAMENT PREP CLASSES We are starting our tournament prep classes this Friday at 6:00PM. THIS IS NOT A REGULAR CLASS!!! Please only come to the tournament prep classes if you are signed up for the tournament. If you would like to sign up for the tournament please see Mr. or Mrs. Starnes at the front desk. The times and dates are as follows: Friday, February 28th @ 6:00PM- We will be going over the board breaks for the tournament and practicing all of them. ONLY COME TO THIS IF YOU ARE PARTICIPATING IN THE BOARD BREAKING PORTION OF THE TOURNAMENT. (Only orange belts and up are eligible.) Friday, March 6th @ 6:00PM- We will be going over tournament forms. We will go over the reasons a judge can ask you to redo your form, and what things judges will be looking for. SALEM RED SOX DEMO NINJA TURTLE NIGHT Saturday, June 6 at 6:05pm. We are going to do another demo at the Salem Red Sox Game on June 6. It’s Ninja Turtles Night. Mark your caendars! Our TKD students will do a TKD demo and break some boards and will wear their whites. Our Weapons Program kids will do a weapons form and can wear their amazing weapons ninja uniforms.
